Projects

I am extremely passionate about Electrical Engineering and learning more through research and hands-on experience. My favorite project thus far is a hydrogen powered nerf gun. I have really enjoyed the time I have spent researching and building this crazy idea and can't wait to finish. Anytime I mention this project to someone it seems to blow their mind. I have also gained collective experience for programming and PCB design through at home projects such as fixing a 1995 Honda Nighthawk or from school where I am in progress of researching and building an autonomous rover utilizing a basys3 board and a L298N H-bridge for my robotics project lab.

About Me

My name is Dashiell Yount

I am an Electrical Engineering undergraduate student at Texas Tech University. I have an unquenchable interest in learning about our natural world, that's why I chose engineering. Growing up I loved building cool projects whether it was an electromagnet using a bolt or a Bluetooth controlled LED Marshmello helmet made from a Home Depot bucket for Halloween. I'm a hard worker and very quick learner who loves his major and will put 110% effort into any work or project given to me.
